Hello everyone, Welcome again here. We take look on match 14 between Sunrisers Hyderabad Vs Punjab Kings, Where SRH Won the match by 8 wickets.
The match was held in Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad. Sunrisers Hyderabad won the toss and opted to bowl first. This is third match of PBK, in first match they won against KKR by 7 runs while in second match won against RR by 5 runs. This is third match of SRH, and they lose first match against RR by 72 runs while in second match lose against LSG by 5 wickets.
The opening batman from PBK was Prabhsimran Singh and Shikhar Dhawan. But on first ball of match Prabhsimran Singh got LBW by Bhuvneshwar Kumar. Matthew Shortwas was next player on field where he also lose his wicket just on 1 run by LBW from Marco Jansen. Jitesh Sharma was next one on field. But he also not did well and lose wicket on just 4 runs. Sam Curran was next player on field. He played some good shots on field and stay with Shikhar Dhawan on ground. In first power play PBK made 41 runs losing 3 wickets. When score of PBK reach to 63 runs Sam Curran lose his wicket, where he made 22 runs just in 15 balls. Sikandar Raza, the next player on field also not did well and went as 5th wicket when PBK’s score was 69 runs. PBK made 73 runs in 10 overs. Experience player Shikhar Dhawan was standing on field from one side. But no one player stay with Shikhar Dhawan and loss wicket one by one. Shahrukh Khan, Harpreet Brar, Rahul Chahar also lose their wicket one by one. After 13 overs PBK was on 78 runs and lost 8 wickets. But Shikhar Dhavan played for PBK. He took charge and made shots over the ground. He made his 53 runs in 42 balls. He was standing on striker end up to the end of match and made good shots and getting runs over ground. On last ball of innings, he shot 6 runs and PBK score 143 runs losing 9 wickets. Shikhar Dhawan made 99 runs just in 66 balls and remains not out and miss his century just by one run. PBK gave target of 144 run to SRH.
Taking target of 144 runs, the opening batman’s for SRH were Harry Brook and Mayank Agarwal. Both players made decent start for SRH. It was looking good partnership between the player but Harry Brook lose his wicket to Arshdeep Singh on 13 runs. Rahul Tripathi was the next player on field. Mayank Agarwal also lose his wicket on 21 runs. Aiden Markram was on field. Both the player played well on field. Rahul Tripathi gave speed to score board. He completed his fifty just in just 35 balls by applying six to Mohit Rathee. Then both players didn’t lose wicket and win the match smoothly. Rahul Tripathi made 74 runs just in 48 balls whereas Aiden Markram made 37 runs in 21 balls. This was first win from SRH in this season where they got 2 points. Shikhar Dhavan was Player of the match.
