First match lost against RCB by 8 wickets while second match against CSK by 7 wickets.
The opening batman from DC was David Warner and Prithvi Shaw. Both players made decent opening for DC. But Prithvi lose his wicket on 15 runs which were made in 10 balls. Manish Pandey was next player on field. Pandey made some good shots. After first power play DC were on 51 runs losing 1 wicket. But he lose his wicket on 26 runs made in 18 balls. But from DC no one were stand on crease. DC lose Yash Dhull, Rovman Powell, Lalit Yadav one after one. Piyush Chawla took 3 wickets. At this moment DC were made 98 runs losing 5 wickets in 12.3 over. Axar Patel was next batman on field. He started hitting to bowlers of MI. From other side David Warner also were stand on crease. He made 50 runs in 43 balls. This is his third fifty in this IPL season. From other end Axar made good shots and competed his fifty just in 22 balls by hitting six to Meredith. But in 19th over from Jason Behrendorff changed the condition of score board. Axar lose his wicket on 54 runs, David warner also lose his wicket on 51 runs. Kuldeep Yadav and Abishek Porel also lose their wicket. And finally, DC get all out and they made 172 runs.
Taking target of 173 runs, opening batmen from MI was Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan. In first over, Rohit showed his intentions. Both players made good start for MI. They played shots all over the ground. In first power play MI were made 68 runs losing no wicket. But when score was 71 runs kishan were lose his wicket by run out on 31 runs made in 26 balls. Tilak Varma was next player on field. After 10 overs MI were made score of 91 runs losing 1 wicket. After that Rhoit made his fifty in 29 balls. A fifty after a really long time Rohit Sharma. Then both player made some good shots on field. But while trying to hit big shot Tilak Varma lose his wicket on 41 runs, made in 29 balls. MI were need 26 runs in 18 balls, while Tim David and Cameron Green were new batman on field.
Both players played safely and increase score. In 19th over Green hits 2 sixes and moved score to 168 runs. Now match was in interesting mode. In final over MI were needed 5 runs in 6 balls.
