It was looking a big partnership between the two players, but Faf du Plessis lose his wicket Mitchell Marsh. He made 22 runs in 16 balls. The score board was on 42 runs losing 1 wicket. Mahipal Lomror was next player on field. In first power play RCB made 47 runs losing 1 wicket. Both player made good runs to increase score board. Virat kohli then made his third fifty in this IPL just in 33 balls. After 10 overs RCB were score 89 runs losing 1 wicket. But immediately on first ball of 11th over Virat lose his wicket while playing big shot. Glenn Maxwell was next player on field. But Mahipal Lomror lose his wicket on 26 runs to Mitchell Marsh. Next player Harshal Patel also lose his wicket early on 6 runs. Glenn Maxwell also lose his wicket immediately on 24 runs. Dinesh Kartik also lose wicket on zero runs. Finally, Shahbaz Ahmed made 20 runs and Anuj Rawat made 15 runs and RCB made score of 174 runs in 20 overs losing 6 wickets.
Taking target of 177 runs in 20 overs, opening batman from Delhi Capitals was David Warner and Prithvi Shaw. But there was not good opening for DC. In first over Prithvi Shaw lost wicket through run out on zero run. The next player Mitchell Marsh also lose wicket on zero runs and Yash Dhull also lose wicket on 1 run. Delhi Capitals was in trouble in this condition. But after that David made some good runs for DC and moved score. But when score board was 30 runs, David also lose his wicket on 19 runs. Manish Pandey was next player on field. He played some good shot and added important runs to team. He stood on crease but not get support from other players. One by one from other side wickets went on. Manish lose his wicket on 50 runs made in 38 balls. Axar Patel, Aman Khan, Anrich Nortje made 21,18 23 runs respectively and went one by one. Finally, Delhi Capitals made 151 runs in 20 overs losing 9 wickets. DC lose fifth match in a row.
